Projek Refleksologi Asli

Name: Fazilah Saugi
Age: 37
Occupation: Social worker
Allocation: RM 50, 000
Project: PROJECT REFLEKSOLOGI ASLI

A long time social worker, Fazilah feels that she could give back to community by helping people with disabilities (OKU). The best gift you can give a person with disabilities is the right tool to gain success and independence, and Fazilah is set on arming them with that tool. With proper training and the right infrastructure, the participants will be able to increase their income and living standards.

WHAT ?

After spotting several blind masseurs operating on the sidewalk in her hometown in Maran, Fazilah aims to begin a program which will train people with disabilities on the methods of reflexology as well as providing a place for them to operate.

WHY ?

This training for the OKUs will allow them to provide their reflexology services using correct methodology via provided channels.

HOW ?

The participants will undergo practical training for free. Once trained, they will be provided a facility fully equipped where they could provide reflexology services and create income to sustain themselves and the Reflexology Centre. Part of the income generated will be directed to Persatuan Orang Cacat dan Buta Maran, where most of them reside. Fazilah also hopes to engage the locals using Persatuan Orang Cacat dan Buta Maran and orphanages as centre for youth social activities in the long run.
