Youth Jam ropes in small projects from all over Malaysia and bundles them up into one mega event. Led by the inspiring and enterprising Jazz Tan, the annual event, now in its third year, will host sub-events in diverse subjects from personal finance to public speaking, from graffiti to graphic design. It is youth giving youth what they want, and it achieves Dana Belia’s ultimate aim is: to galvanize!
WHAT ?
An annual meet-up that aims to empower, support and develop youths through youth-driven events and entrepreneurial initiatives by bringing selected small events together under a single banner
WHY ?
Events are a key interest of youth nowadays. It not only engages the public , it is one of the most effective tools to get youth organized by attaching them to a cause, fighting apathy. Organizing events helps built confidence, develop leadership ability and improve soft skills such as communications and time management.
HOW ?
The project will cover four phases, which includes improving the main online platform, engaging parents, getting youth leaders on board and organizing Youth Jam. Jazz and company will also be providing the necessary tools, funding, resources, networking and support needed for the youth leaders to run their projects for Youth Jam.
